This mid-October family session just outside of Madison, Wisconsin was on the verge of cancellation because the weather was a huge question mark. But … what do midwesterners do when the weather goes from not so great to full on snow? They roll with it of course!
We met Kristin shortly after moving to Wisconsin. She is a natural fertility care expert and we have been working with her for the last eight months in our fertility journey. We were so excited when she contacted us for an extended family portrait session with her parents and brother and his fiancé and all of their littles! What an honor for us to be able to bless someone who has been such a big blessing to us!
One of the most important things to us, and our clients, is legacy. Which is why we love photographing extended family sessions like this one. There is so much rich history and family heritage when three generations gather to celebrate life with one another. This gathering was extra special because Katie and her son, Cam, will be joining the family soon too which brings even more reason to celebrate!
Dvorsky family …
… Each season in life is special. Thank you so much for trusting us to capture this special season in your lives. Despite the wind, and then rain, and then sleet, and then snow (what in the world??!!!) we had a wonderful time with you during your Madison family session. It was truly an honor working with you and we appreciate you sticking in there with us given the conditions! Judging by your smiles though, one would never know the weather was kinda crummy. Still … next time, let’s maybe try to plan something for a warmer day!
We love extended family sessions, even when it is cold and windy! Check out another fun family session here!
